Thursday 11 April is World Parkinson’s Day

In Australia, Parkinson’s affects 100,000 people with 32 people diagnosed every day. It is the second most common neurological disease in Australia after dementia.

In 2017-18 neurological disease was the reason that 21% of applications for guardianship were made in the NT.
