As we commemorate ANZAC Day on Thursday 25 April, OPG acknowledges this national day of remembrance for all those who fought and died for their country. The OPG further acknowledges the involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the armed forces. Lest we forget.

In the Northern Territory, Aboriginal peoples commemorate this day by recognising the Larrakia 'Black Watch' during WW2 in Darwin; and the children of Ntaria re-enact the WW1 light horse brigade in Alice Springs.
