International Day of People with Disability is held on the 3rd of December each year to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution to society made by those living with a disability. With over 4.4 million Australians with a disability, today provides an opportunity for each and every one of us to challenge stereotypes and breakdown the barriers to promote an attitude of inclusiveness.

With more than 1000 adults in the Northern Territory accessing guardianship services each year, the Office of the Public Guardian takes pride in its advocacy efforts to improve the lives of Territorians with a disability and is thankful for the support and collaboration that helps us achieve our gaols.
